Sciatica

Sciatica is a common term for pain caused by irritation of the sciatic nerve. Anything that irritates the sciatic nerve can cause mild or severe pain. The sciatic nerve is a large nerve with the largest diameter in the human body. It starts at the bottom of the spinal cord and spreads to the lower parts of the body, such as the thighs, knees, and feet.
