Varicose Veins

The twisted enlarged veins that are more prominent in the legs due to pressure and standing walking cause varicose veins. In addition to aesthetic issues, varicose veins can cause excruciating pain and discomfort. Varicose veins are the result of weak or damaged valves that allow blood to back up and pool in the vein, causing the veins to stretch or twist.
